Report: Villanova’s JayVaughn Pinkston accused of violating probation

Back in 2010, Villanova forward JayVaughn Pinkston was involved in an altercation at an off-campus party in which he was accused of assault. After multiple postponements of his case, Pinkston, a first-time offender, was able to get into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD).
Under the ARD, Pinkston could avoid the criminal justice system, replacing it with community service and restitution. On Friday night, a report from Carl Hessler Jr. of the Times Herald stated that Montgomery County prosecutors are attempted to remove Pinkston from the ARD for allegedly violating the terms of the program. Prosecutors are claiming Pinkston has failed to meet with probation officers, finish his community service and pay fines.
