• Bobby Hurley has agreed to a new contract with Buffalo that will make him the Mid-American Conference’s highest-paid men’s basketball coach at more than $550,000, a source said. Hurley led the Bulls to their first NCAA tournament this season and, with a 42-20 record, became the Bulls’ first coach to reach 40 victories in two seasons. • Former Cleveland Cavaliers star Mark Price has been hired as the coach at Charlotte, sources said. Price, 51, has spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach with the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA. He will replace Alan Major, who left the program this month amid ongoing medical problems. • LSU forward Jarell Martin said he will enter the NBA draft. Martin, 6 feet 10, averaged 16.9 points and 9.2 rebounds this season and was named first team all-Southeastern Conference. • Indiana sophomore guard Stanford Robinson will transfer — likely to a school closer to his home in Maryland — in hopes of finding more playing time, coach Tom Crean said. Robinson averaged 4.7 points in 11.4 minutes this season; he averaged 16.9 minutes as a freshman. • Kansas State coach Bruce Weber announced that leading scorer Marcus Foster and freshman reserve Tre Harris were dismissed from the team, and Jevon Thomas, who led the team in assists, will transfer. • Former NBA head coach Eric Musselman has been hired at Nevada, pending approval by its Board of Regents. • Alabama-Birmingham coach Jerod Haase received a six-year contract extension at $1 million a season.
